Alexander Burtea, PhD

Co-Founder & Chief Scientific Officer

Dr. Alexander Burtea, the brilliant mind behind ALUBaby’s inception, holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Fullerton. His journey began with a personal challenge—he noticed the inconvenience of preparing formula while on-the-go with his own children and set out to create a solution. His vision for a disposable, on-the-go formula bottle sparked the idea that would eventually evolve into ALUBaby’s patented pouch design.

As ALUBaby’s Chief Scientific Officer, Alexander worked closely with the formula manufacturer in the Netherlands to create a high-quality, nutritious formula tailored to meet the needs of growing infants. Leveraging his scientific expertise, he played a key role in ensuring that the formula met the highest standards of safety and nutrition. Alexander’s passion for problem-solving and his commitment to improving the lives of parents everywhere are at the heart of ALUBaby’s success.

Victor Burtea, MBA

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Victor Burtea is the visionary behind ALUBaby. Armed with a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Hope International University, Victor took the initial spark of an idea—to create an on-the-go disposable formula bottle—and transformed it into the revolutionary ALUBaby formula pouch. Instead of using a traditional bottle, Victor conceived a pouch with a frangible seal and a custom spout design that houses a built-in nipple under the cap.

His expertise in business and his commitment to innovation led him to collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to design the custom pouches, develop assembly line machinery, and scale production for mass distribution.

As the driving force behind ALUBaby, Victor used his knowledge and experience to turn this idea into a thriving family-owned business. His hands-on approach and dedication ensured that every aspect of the pouch design was optimized for convenience and quality, making life easier for parents everywhere. Victor’s leadership has been instrumental in launching ALUBaby and positioning it as a trusted name in baby nutrition. When he’s not focused on the business, Victor enjoys spending time with his family, drawing on his own experiences as a parent to continually improve the products.

Daniel Burtea

Co-Founder & Strategic Advisor

With over 40 years of experience as an entrepreneur and business owner, Daniel Burtea brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to ALUBaby. Having successfully navigated multiple industries, Daniel’s business acumen and relentless drive were instrumental in turning the vision for ALUBaby into a reality. As the primary financial backer of the project, he played a critical role in funding the development of the patented disposable formula pouch.

Beyond his financial contributions, Daniel served as a mentor and motivator to his co-founders—his two sons, Victor and Alexander. His insight and guidance helped the team navigate early challenges and stay focused through every phase of development. Daniel’s decades of business experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and deep-rooted commitment to family values continue to shape the heart and direction of ALUBaby.
